Job summary

Austin Industries seeks an Insulation Leadman to install, remove, and repair insulating materials on exposed surfaces and systems to control noise and temperatures. Role requires reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and securing insulation on pipes, tanks, boilers, and buildings.

Responsibilities include selecting materials, applying adhesives, and ensuring proper coverage. Must be able to work at heights and prefer journeyman experience in insulation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Journeyman level insulation experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship offered.
• Reads blueprints and selects insulation material.
• Able to work at heights and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and select insulation material.
• Measure and cut insulation to size.
• Wrap or attach insulation around structures per specifications.
• Apply adhesives or tape to secure insulation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
