Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Surgical Processing Technician to coordinate and supervise the sterlization and processing activities during an assigned shift. You will support OR teams and ensure service for patients across all age groups.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years of surgical processing experience or as a surgical technologist, and knowledge of instrument sterilization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of surgical processing experience or two years as a surgical technologist.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instrument sterilization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises activities of personnel in Surgical Processing during an assigned shift.
• Provides service for neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
