Club Pilates offers a 500-hour Teacher Training Program to thoroughly and safely teach group Pilates apparatus classes along with TRX, Triggerpoint, and Barre.
Responsibilities
- Lead Pilates group reformer classes in accordance with Club Pilates standards.
- Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class using equipment (Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.).
- Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level-appropriate.
- Uphold core values to foster a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouraging.
- Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other sessions as needed.
- Inspect equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment.
- Assist with membership sales and client check-in.
- Participate in special events to promote the studio.
- Promote studio revenue by delivering the “Message of the Week” after every class (retail, membership sales, events, and services).
- Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote the studio motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
- Other duties as assigned.
- As Lead Instructor, additional responsibilities include:
- Maintaining "Full Time" Instructor status (average of 50 hours per month).
- Must work at least 1 weekend block per month.
- Ability to perform 2-5 hours of administrative work per week.
- Provide instructional coaching and support.
- Manage PT schedule.
- Serve as main point of contact for instructors.
- Manage sub requests.
- Provide and gather feedback on the schedule.
- Perform quarterly instructor audits.
- Complete the weekly/monthly equipment safety checklist.
Qualifications
- Must currently lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards for the Empowered Pilates Group.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
