Job summary

Yeb Payroll Llc is seeking a Lead Swim Instructor to support onboarding and development of new staff while delivering high-quality swim instruction.

You'll partner with the Senior Swim Instructor, reinforce SafeSplash curriculum, and ensure safety and consistent lesson delivery. Roles include both part-time and full-time options, with weekdays, weeknights, and weekends on-site.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Swim Instructor with proficiency in SafeSplash curriculum or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of swim instruction techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to demonstrate and teach skills to students and instructors.
• Comfortable giving peer-to-peer guidance and feedback in a supportive manner.
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (or within 30 days) training available.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in and around water with children for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills according to SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, safe, and engaging manner.
• Provide continuous, positive feedback to students and parents.
• Structure class time to maximize learning and progression.
• Track and document student progress for proper class placement.
• Partner with Senior Swim Instructor to onboard and train new instructors.
• Reinforce SafeSplash curriculum standards and safety expectations.
• Ensure swimmer safety through supervision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain organized classes with timely starts and ends.

Job description

Are you passionate about teaching and developing others while making a lasting impact on children’s lives? We are seeking a Lead Swim Instructor to support the training and development of swim instructors while continuing to deliver high-quality swim instruction.

This role works in partnership with the Senior Swim Instructor to help onboard and develop new team members, while primarily functioning as a Swim Instructor. The Lead Swim Instructor plays a key role in maintaining consistency in instruction and reinforcing curriculum standards through hands‑on support. This position does not include administrative or leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Instruction & Student Development

• Teach swimming skills in accordance with the SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, engaging, and safe manner
• Provide continuous, positive, and constructive feedback to students and parents
• Structure class time effectively to maximize learning and skill progression
• Track and document student progress to ensure consistent development and proper class placement
• Conduct "Splash n’ Tell" sessions as required

Training Support

• Partner with the Senior Swim Instructor to support onboarding and in‑water training of new instructors
• Demonstrate proper teaching techniques, curriculum standards, and safety expectations
• Provide real‑time guidance and support to new instructors during their initial teaching shifts
• Reinforce SafeSplash curriculum standards and consistency in lesson delivery
• Share observations and feedback with the Senior Swim Instructor and management team to support instructor development

Safety & Class Management

• Ensure swimmer safety at all times by maintaining constant supervision and adhering to all safety protocols
• Maintain structured, organized classes with efficient transitions
• Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to management

Operational Excellence

• Maintain proper use and organization of equipment
• Ensure timely class start and end times
• Follow all SafeSplash policies, procedures, and uniform standards
• Communicate effectively with team members to support a consistent student experience
