Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Lead Institutional Services Automation Quality Control Analyst to join our team in Wilmington, DE (Remote). This contract role (9 months) focuses on designing and building scalable automated testing solutions across UI, API, and performance areas, collaborating with development and product teams throughout the SDLC.

You will lead automation framework development, define testing strategies, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in test case management in Zephyr and automation framework development (UI, API, integration testing).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CI/CD, scripting, and test automation engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business process validation and quality assurance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance automation frameworks across UI, API, performance, load, and other non-functional testing areas, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Define and implement test automation strategies, including tooling, scripting, architecture, test data, and environment management, while identifying opportunities to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Partner with Development and Product teams during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution design to translate requirements and acceptance criteria into comprehensive automated test coverage.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, review test code and scripts, monitor automation KPIs, and provide clear reporting on feature-level test coverage and execution status.
• Drive continuous quality improvement by evaluating emerging testing technologies, including AI-assisted tools, contributing to performance and security testing, resolving complex technical challenges, and supporting less experienced team members.
