Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions, Milwaukee-based, is partnering with a manufacturing client to hire an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations in a plastic injection molding facility. This hands-on role oversees production scheduling, materials coordination, and team development to ensure orders are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within plastic injection molding.
• Experience with production scheduling, inventory control, and materials coordination.
• Experience leading hourly manufacturing employees.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• ERP system experience required; IQMS experience preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate production priorities, machine loading, labor allocation, and materials availability.
• Monitor throughput, downtime, scrap, and labor efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15 production employees.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Partner with Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to support manufacturing objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
