Job summary

System One, Inc. in Lakewood, CO, is seeking an Injection Molding Manufacturing Engineer to influence the design, development and production of next-generation medical devices in a highly automated plastics environment.

You will lead implementation, optimization and continuous improvement of molding operations to improve product quality, throughput and cost performance in a state-of-the-art facility, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering; BS preferred.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in injection molding manufacturing.
• Two years of GMP manufacturing experience required.
• Strong understanding of polymer materials (ABS, PVC, polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon).
• Experience with regulator requirements (FDA).

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize processes to boost production efficiency, quality and cost.
• Lead projects and provide technical leadership for manufacturing initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors and mold makers.
• Support safety, regulatory compliance, and KPI objectives.
