Job summary

Qorali is seeking an experienced Infra Platform Engineer to manage and enhance the organization’s virtual infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Technology teams to deliver automation and platform improvements.

You will work hands-on with VMware, Cisco UCS, PowerCLI, and PowerShell, develop IaC solutions, support disaster recovery, and maintain technical documentation in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong virtualization experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to implement robust infrastructure automation.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Proficient in performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of cloud/hybrid infrastructure concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize VMware and Cisco UCS environments to ensure stability and performance.
• Develop and enforce security standards across the infrastructure stack.
• Drive automation via IaC and scripting to enable repeatable deployments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver platform improvements and new capabilities.
• Maintain and improve operational documentation and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues in large-scale settings.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and resiliency initiatives.

Job description

You will be responsible for managing and enhancing the organization's virtual infrastructure environment, ensuring platforms remain secure, reliable, and efficient. Working closely with Infrastructure, Security, and Technology teams, you'll help deliver automation, platform improvements, and operational support across business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise VMware and Cisco UCS infrastructure environments.
• Manage and optimize virtualization and hyperconverged platforms to ensure stability and performance.
• Implement security standards and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Work with technical and business stakeholders to deliver platform improvements.
• Develop and enhance automation capabilities across the infrastructure estate.
• Create Infrastructure as Code solutions to support automated, integrated, and continuous deployments.
• Utilise PowerCLI and PowerShell to manage, automate, and administer VMware environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, virtualization, and performance-related issues.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and resiliency initiatives.
• Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and technical standards.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with VMware technologies and enterprise virtualization environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting Cisco UCS infrastructure.
• Experience with PowerCLI and PowerShell administration within VMware environments.
• Strong background in infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience developing automated deployment and configuration processes.
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of enterprise storage, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
