Job summary

Providence is seeking a senior information security leader to translate strategy into tactical plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage resources to meet milestones and QA criteria. This role oversees major domains within the information security program, including planning, budgeting, metrics, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Information Security, or Business Management.
• 10 years of experience in Information Security.
• 10 years of experience providing in-depth analysis of complex issues presented to cross-functional teams.
• 10 years of experience in service delivery, process definition, and basic system development.
• 10 years of hands-on experience with security risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership to the organization in information security frameworks, business continuity management, reporting and metrics, security risk management, firewall protection, information security training, intrusion prevention, data loss prevention, and anti-virus endpoint protection.
• Translate strategy into tactical plans then achieve milestones, determine resource needs and coordinate the work of a cross-functional team, often in a lead role.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of significant domains within the information security program from planning to on-time completion and QA.
