Job summary

PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. in Camas, WA is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to manage security posture for information systems, collaborating with ISSM, CPSO, and FSO.

The ISSO will implement RMF requirements (JSIG, NIST 800-53) and maintain security authorization packages for assigned systems. You will lead security programs, oversee accreditation, perform audits and vulnerability scans, ensure patching and monitoring, provide security training to local staff, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years’ related experience.
• DoD 8570 compliant, IAT Level II.
• Experience with Windows-based information systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the information system security program for their assigned location.
• Maintain and establish accreditation of classified information systems.
• Establish and implement security procedures aligned with DoD regulations.
• Ensure patching, AV updates, and continuous monitoring.
• Provide security education and training to local employees.
• Conduct self-inspections and random security inspections for compliance.
