Celebree School in Spring, TX is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher (6 weeks–12 months) to provide responsive, developmentally appropriate care and guidance for a dedicated infant classroom. You will lead staff, partner with families, and ensure safety, routine, and licensing standards are met.

You will design nurturing experiences, supervise caregivers, document milestones, and contribute to a supportive team focused on early learning foundations.

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements for a lead infant teacher (e.g., age, education/credentials, and experience with infants in licensed care).
• Demonstrated experience caring for infants under 12 months, with attachment and early brain development knowledge.
• Current infant/child CPR and First Aid and any state health/safety trainings, including safe sleep.
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and coworkers, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide constant supervision and maintain ratios; ensure safe sleep and routines for infants 6 weeks–12 months.
• Perform caregiving routines (diapering, feeding, burping, soothing) with hygiene and schedule adherence.
• Plan simple developmentally appropriate experiences (tummy time, floor play, reading, songs) per curriculum.
• Observe and document infant cues and milestones; share information with director and families via Tadpoles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, calming environment; assist with sanitizing and preparing materials.
• Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and written reports; administer medication if needed.
• Lead and mentor assistant teachers and floaters; model best practices and maintain consistency with policies.
• Follow center policies, licensing standards, safe sleep guidelines, and program curriculum; keep professional files updated.
