Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Kildeer IL is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator to provide safe, engaging care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. You will implement developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with NAEYC standards and collaborate with families to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in ECE or related field is required.
• Experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication with families.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized within operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children 6 weeks to 12 years in one classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Plan activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, clean, and safe environment.

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years in one assigned classroom.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements
