Job summary

StarChild Academy, part of Endeavor Schools, in Florida, seeks a Lead Infant Teacher to develop age-appropriate curricula, plan engaging activities, and support cognitive, social, and emotional growth of infants. You will monitor progress and ensure safety, while building strong relationships with families and colleagues.

The role emphasizes creating a positive, collaborative classroom culture and requires excellent communication and a passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 45 DCF Hours are required.
• An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development or CDA certification is preferred.
• 2–5 years of prior center experience is preferred.
• Experience with the assigned age group is required.
• Strong communication with parents and staff is essential.
• Patience, collaboration, creativity and passion for ECE are essential.

Are You Qualified?

Whether or not you have experience working in schools, you may be qualified to work with us. The most important quality is that you love working with children. Some of our best educators have come from other fields, including customer service, healthcare, retail, and more!

• High School Diploma or GED
• 45 DCF Hours
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development / CDA Certified preferred
• 2-5 years prior experience working in a certified child development center
• Prior experience with the assigned age group.
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members, is required.
• The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.
