Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Dubuque, IA is seeking energetic, nurturing teachers to join our growing early childhood team. You will inspire, encourage, and celebrate children’s love of learning every day while working with a caring staff. The position requires availability across shifts from 6:30am to 6:00pm.

Wage range is $14.40–$20.50 per hour, depending on experience and education. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a 401K match, paid time off, discounted

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has a passion for working with young children.
• Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
