Job summary

Mid-State is seeking a Project Manager in Lakeland, FL to lead industrial construction, maintenance, and capital projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will plan, direct, and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure safe, on‑time, profitable delivery in active facilities and field environments.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience, PMP preferred, and proficiency with MS Project and Asana.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and PM software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).

Responsibilities

• Review estimates, contracts, drawings, and schedules to confirm scope and risks.
• Lead kickoff activities and develop a comprehensive execution plan.
• Develop schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and procurement needs.
• Coordinate project teams and manage responsibilities and performance.
• Ensure resources are aligned with requirements across departments.
• Monitor cost, quality, safety, and compliance; handle inspections and turnover.
