Job summary

Zachry is seeking a NCCER Industrial Electrician Certified professional to join our Texas team. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman or Master Electrician license (TDLR) or NCCER certification, and be capable of guiding less experienced electricians in a safe, efficient work environment.

You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, read blueprints, and follow NFPA 70 guidelines. You will participate in Zachry Craft Advancement Program (ZCAP) and work on refinery projects on

Qualifications

TX TDLR Journeyman or Master Electrician license or NCCER Certified Plus.
Ability to read prints, drawings, schematics and plans.
Must have required tools and reliable transportation.
Must be able to work at heights and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

Follow Zachry safety rules and oversee co-workers to ensure compliance.
Read blueprints and plans to determine locations of circuits, outlets and panels.
Install, repair and maintain conduit, cables and electrical systems per NFPA 70 (NEC 2014).
Lead Safety Task Assessment (STA) meetings and inspect work areas for hazards.
Inspect and test electrical equipment and tools for safe operation; participate in ZCAP.
