Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a seasoned Supervisor of In-service Repair Certification to lead a team ensuring airworthiness approvals align with DOA, EASA, and FAA requirements. You will coordinate across the AA region and Europe, manage resources, schedules, and budgets while driving certification excellence.

The role emphasises leadership, engineering oversight, and collaboration with global stakeholders to maintain regulatory compliance and program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 20+ years progressive experience in engineering programs related to Commercial Transport Category aircraft.
• Experience in airworthiness certification topics and product development.
• Travel required 15% domestic and international.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the In-service Repair Certification team to ensure airworthiness approvals meet DOA and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with EASA and FAA requirements and integrate reporting across regions.
• Focal point for Repair design assurance within Airbus Americas Engineering.
• Attend audits and interact with Europe counterparts to maintain certification continuity.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resources for multiple programs.
• Deliver timely airworthiness approvals and maintain compliance across certifications.
