Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• Experience practicing immigration law and removal defense preferred.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• Strong advocacy and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Removal Defense (EOIR) proceedings.
• Handle humanitarian immigration matters (VAWA, T-Visas, Asylum).
• Develop legal strategies and guide clients through the immigration process.
• Serve as the lead attorney for the Houston practice.
• Build relationships with clients and the local immigrant community.
• Partner with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management and client service.
• Help establish and grow the Houston practice.
