Job summary

Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform advanced imaging, administer contrast, and mentor students while collaborating with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. The role supports department initiatives and emphasizes patient safety and imaging excellence.

The position requires ARRT in Radiography with CT credential within two years, Wisconsin or Illinois licensure as applicable, and BLS/CPR within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Two to four years of experience as a Radiographer in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active status in the modalities practiced.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentor students and team members.
• Operate imaging equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for procedures and minimize anxiety.
• Administer contrast media and initiate IV access as needed.
• Provide patient education and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Support supply and equipment decisions and manage inventory.
