Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Lead II to oversee the warehouse and its team, ensuring accurate, on-time inventory and order fulfillment.

You’ll train staff, manage workloads, use warehouse management systems, and uphold safety and policy standards to keep operations running smoothly. We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and life insurance, with day shifts Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.

• Oversee processes to ensure inventory and orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Utilize a warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Recommend development opportunities and/or discipline for employees.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and provide backing to warehouse management.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and handheld scanners
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
