The U.S. Geological Survey seeks a Supervisory Hydrologic Technician to lead the Marion Field Office within the Hydrologic Network Operations Section.

You will supervise staff, oversee field operations, and direct hydrologic data collection and monitoring activities, ensuring program goals are met while maintaining safety and compliance. Responsibilities include technical direction, staff supervision, and coordination with partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
• Background investigation and favorable adjudication required.
• Selective Service registration for males born after 12-31-59.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Manages hydrologic monitoring programs and directs field office operations.
• Supervises staff collecting hydrologic data to meet program goals.
• Collects and analyzes physical and chemical water properties from various hydrologic systems.
• Constructs and maintains water resource monitoring stations and associated electrical systems.
