Job summary

Costy's Energy Services is seeking an experienced Hydro-Vac Operator to lead crews in Western PA, WV, and OH. This full-time role operates Hydro-Vac trucks, supervises field staff, and ensures work is completed safely and to company standards.

The position requires hands-on equipment operation, crew leadership, and coordination with clients and site supervisors. Overtime and weekend work may be required; sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available.

Qualifications

• CDL-B with Tanker Endorsement is required.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience required.
• 1+ years of Hydro-Vac or heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred in field operations.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Strong knowledge of Hydro-Excavation and oil & gas site operations.
• Ability to train, coach, and manage crews while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and instruct crews in Hydro-Excavation, pit cleaning, tank cleaning, and related services.
• Operate Hydro-Vac trucks for excavation, fluid removal, and site cleaning.
• Ensure safety protocols and company procedures are followed (DOT, OSHA, etc.).
• Train and develop crew members for equipment operation and job execution.
• Coordinate with clients, site supervisors, and internal teams on job requirements.
