Job summary

Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking an HVAC Technician for second shift to install, inspect, and service heating and cooling equipment across casino facilities in New York. The role requires extensive HVAC experience, relevant certifications, and strong safety knowledge.

Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma (or equivalent), ARI Universal HVAC certification, and at least ten years of hands-on HVAC work, with the ability to read electrical codes and schematics.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or its equivalency required.
• ARI Certification for HVAC Technician-Type: Universal.
• Ten years of hands-on HVAC experience in commercial settings.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and relevant safety standards.
• HVAC experience with air conditioning, boilers, controls, and ductwork.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, dismantle and repair HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment.
• Plan procedures, select tools, and obtain materials for service work.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on building systems.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service to patrons and staff while on shift.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and supervise junior technicians as needed.
