One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning (EARLES COMFORT PLUS INC) seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to join a team of heating and cooling specialists. The technician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, while ensuring customer satisfaction and high service standards.

The role requires strong technical skills, adherence to local HVAC codes, a clean driving record, and effective communication with customers.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in repair and replacement of HVAC systems.
• Knowledgeable in local HVAC codes and the ability to make on-the-job applications.
• Clean, safe driving record and valid Driver's License.
• Organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install and service residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform installation of boilers, forced air equipment, duct systems, piping as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and well-inventoried trucks.
• Communicate with customers to answer questions and resolve problems.
• Prepare accurate invoices and time sheets.

A Day in the Life of a HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician works as part of a dynamic and passionate team, to demonstrate technical competency and exceed customer expectations by performing the highest quality service. Performs semi-skilled and skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of HVAC equipment and accessories including but not limited to boilers, forced air equipment, sheet metal duct systems, cutting and threading pipe, gas piping, etc. They demonstrate themselves as a knowledgeable professional to gain new referrals and repeat business. Our HVAC Technician will adhere to the company's plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably by communicating with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck. Their excellent verbal and written communication skills will help them to be accurate and timely with invoices and time sheets.
