Job summary

AIRO Mechanical in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking an HVAC Superintendent to lead on-site HVAC installations from start to finish. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, safety, and quality to meet client expectations on commercial and industrial projects.

The role requires proven leadership, strong knowledge of HVAC systems, and the ability to read construction plans. You will supervise technicians and subcontractors, manage resources and budgets, and maintain daily progress reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Superintendent in commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• HVAC-related certifications and licenses a plus.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC projects from planning through execution to meet client objectives.
• Supervise HVAC technicians, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
• Ensure installations comply with specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Enforce safety protocols; hold regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Manage project resources including materials, equipment, and labor.
• Maintain positive client relationships and provide project updates.
• Identify and resolve project issues to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain daily and progress reports, as-built drawings, and records.
• Assist in monitoring budgets and controlling costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
