Job summary

Olsson’s Project Mechanical Engineer role leads complex multi-disciplinary mechanical design for large-scale facilities, with ownership of challenging projects that shape communities.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil teams, and apply innovative, sustainable design principles to meet client expectations and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• 6+ years of related mechanical engineering experience.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Experience in vertical infrastructure HVAC design.

Responsibilities

• Lead Complex Projects: Manage mechanical engineering design for large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects with demanding technical requirements.
• Mentor and Inspire: Guide junior engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence across the team.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive Innovation: Apply advanced engineering principles to develop efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective designs.
• Ensure Excellence: Oversee quality control and compliance with industry standards, client expectations, and project timelines.
