Job summary

Tuckey Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position; you will independently lead installations, uphold high quality standards, and represent our company with professionalism and integrity.

As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will oversee residential and light-commercial installations, review plans, install and wire HVAC systems, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HVAC installation experience in residential and/or commercial settings.
• Ability to lead projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, electrical wiring, refrigeration, and plumbing connections.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and installation drawings.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
• Previous service experience is a plus.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Personal hand tools appropriate for the trade.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and light-commercial HVAC installation projects.
• Review plans and specifications prior to installation.
• Install furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ventilation equipment, ductwork, refrigeration components, and related systems.
• Install and connect HVAC controls, wiring, piping, and related accessories.
• Ensure installations comply with manufacturer specifications and applicable codes.
• Perform equipment startup, testing, and system verification.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and project paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Uphold a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less-experienced installers when needed.

Lead HVAC Installer

We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a seasoned HVAC professional who can independently lead installations, maintain high quality standards, and represent our company with professionalism and integrity.

What You'll Do

As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company and industry standards.
