Job summary

On The Way Heating & Air is seeking highly skilled HVAC installers for complete residential air-conditioning installations. Top performers may earn $130,000–$300,000+ annually based on production and results, with compensation dependent on experience and final pay structure.

Expect to install split-system ACs, heat pumps, ductwork, IAQ equipment, and related components with adherence to codes and safety standards. Florida-based work requires flexibility and a strong workmanship ethic.

Qualifications

Proven residential HVAC installation experience.
Ability to complete a full installation or lead a crew.
EPA 608 certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong understanding of ductwork, airflow, refrigerant systems, condensate, electrical, and IAQ.
Ability to work in Florida attics, tight spaces, heat, and demanding jobsite conditions.
Must be able to provide photos of your own completed HVAC installations.

Responsibilities

Complete split-system AC and heat-pump systems.
Air handlers, package units, and attic systems.
Ductwork, plenums, transitions, boots, returns, and supply runs.
Refrigerant piping, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and charging.
Condensate drains, secondary pans, float switches, and safety controls.
Electrical connections, disconnects, thermostats, and low-voltage controls.
Indoor-air-quality equipment, including media filters, UV lights, air cleaners, and dehumidifiers.
Equipment stands, platforms, line sets, insulation, and service access.
