LEAD HVAC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN Are you an experienced HVAC installer ready to lead projects, guide a crew, and take ownership of quality from start to finish? Calloway & Sons LLC is hiring a full-time Lead HVAC Installation Technician to complete heating and cooling system installations throughout New Orleans and the Northshore.

In this field leadership role, you'll coordinate installation projects, guide crew members, solve problems on-site, and ensure every system is installed safely, accurately, and according to Calloway & Sons' quality standards. YOUR SCHEDULE AND SERVICE AREA

This is a full-time position working primarily Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call availability and overtime based on customer and project needs. You'll work on-site throughout New Orleans and the Northshore, leading HVAC installation projects and supporting customers in the communities Calloway & Sons serves.

YOUR ROLE AS A LEAD HVAC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

As our Lead HVAC Installation Technician, you'll take ownership of residential heating and cooling installation projects from preparation through final completion. You'll lead installation crew members, coordinate work on-site, troubleshoot unexpected issues, and ensure each system is installed safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications, applicable requirements, and Calloway & Sons' quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish
• Coordinating daily work and providing clear direction to installation crew members
• Installing heating and cooling systems, equipment, and related components
• Reviewing project requirements before beginning the installation
• Confirming that materials, equipment, and tools are available for each project
• Troubleshooting installation challenges and determining practical solutions on-site
• Ensuring completed work meets company quality, safety, and installation standards
• Training and supporting less-experienced installers and helpers
• Maintaining a productive, organized, and professional job site
• Accurately documenting completed work, system information, and project concerns
• Communicating professionally with customers regarding the installation process
• Completing final quality checks and confirming proper system operation

Your leadership will directly influence installation quality, crew performance, customer satisfaction, and the continued growth of Calloway & Sons.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands-on HVAC installation experience
• Ability to install residential heating and cooling systems
• Ability to independently complete or oversee full system installations from start to finish
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience providing direction, training, or support to other installation team members
• Ability to read and follow installation requirements and manufacturer specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and crew members
• Ability to accurately document completed work and project information
• Availability for on-call work and overtime as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Three or more years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
• Previous experience leading HVAC installation crews or projects
• Experience coordinating complete residential system replacements
• EPA certification
• Ability to provide basic hand tools; Calloway & Sons provides specialty tools
• Experience training or mentoring HVAC installers and helpers
