Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking an experienced HVAC / Duct Superintendent to lead field operations on large commercial projects in the Southeast. You will supervise sheet metal crews, coordinate schedules, review drawings, and ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years installing ductwork, 3+ years in supervisory roles, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; ability to manage multiple trades and maintain aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience installing commercial HVAC sheet metal ductwork.
• At least 3 years in a Superintendent, Lead Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and maintaining aggressive construction schedules.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead field installation activities for commercial HVAC ductwork systems on large-scale projects.
• Supervise sheet metal crews, subcontractors, and vendors; coordinate daily field operations.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and schedules to sequence work.
• Ensure installations comply with project specs, codes, and quality standards.
• Maintain project schedules and productivity with project managers and engineers.
• Enforce OSHA and safety policies; oversee field safety and reporting.
