Job summary

Gartner IT is seeking a Lead Security Analyst to join the Human Cyber Risk & Assessment Team. You will assess human-centric cyber risks, design DLP controls, and collaborate with HR, Legal, and IT to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

The role requires 5–7 years in information security and a proactive, analytical mindset. You will mentor a junior analyst, contribute to security training, and report risk findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on information security experience with focus on human cyber risk, DLP, and insider threats.
• Strong understanding of information security best practices, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with DLP principles, technologies, and implementation strategies.
• Experience with Insider Risk Management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with phishing, social engineering, BEC, and malware delivery in modern threat landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of human-centric cyber risks and identify vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Design, implement, and manage DLP strategies and controls; monitor alerts and investigate incidents.
• Develop programs to detect, analyze, and mitigate insider risks with stakeholders (HR, Legal).
• Stay ahead of current attack vectors and recommend countermeasures.
• Lead security awareness initiatives and mentor junior analysts.
