Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an experienced Hepatopancreatobiliary surgical oncologist with leadership experience to join a high-volume Liver and Pancreas Program. The role emphasizes HPB surgery for liver, pancreas, biliary, and complex GI cancers, with a commitment to clinical trials and research, and integration into a multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified general surgeon required.
• Fellowship training in surgical oncology and/or hepatobiliary surgery preferred.
• 5–8 years of clinical and leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with cancer clinical trials is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Liver and Pancreas Program with a focus on HPB surgery, liver, pancreas, biliary, and complex GI cancers.
• Provide leadership in prevention, screening, and education through NHCI's Genetic Counseling and Survivorship Programs.
• Drive multidisciplinary care and participate in state-of-the-art clinical research trials.
