Job summary

Pursuit is hiring housekeeping staff in Whitefish, Montana for year-round opportunities starting September 2026. This role involves cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces, with some shifts focused on guest areas and occasional outdoor work.

We value leadership, attention to detail, teamwork, and safety. You will support guests and teammates, handle linens, and communicate maintenance needs to supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous housekeeping experience required; leadership experience is an asset.
  • Strong leadership skills and a commitment to supporting both the team and guest experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Committed to Safety First and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms including beds, bathrooms, and restocking supplies.
  • Clean and sanitize public guest areas in hotels, lodges, and cabins.
  • Sanitize and stock common employee living spaces and recreation areas.
  • Stock linen and remove used linens, towels, and trash.
  • Work afternoon/evening shifts for public guest areas when scheduled.
  • Assist with guest amenity requests.
  • Be a versatile team member handling varied duties.
  • Work outdoors, use stairs, lift heavy loads and carts.
  • Record safety and maintenance issues and communicate to supervisor.
  • Assist guests and teammates as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

Full-time or part-time year-round opportunities available starting September 2026.

  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms including vacuuming, moping, dusting, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, restocking toiletries & towels, and cleaning kitchen spaces (if applicable)
  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing public guest areas (including bathrooms and lobby spaces) in hotels, lodges and cabins
  • Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking common employee living spaces, bathrooms, and recreations areas
  • May be required to stock linen and remove used linens/towels/trash
  • May be required to work afternoon/evening shifts when scheduled for a shift focused on public guest areas
  • May assist with amenity requests from guests
  • Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
  • May be required to work outside, use stairs, and carry/push heavy loads and carts
  • Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
  • Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
