Qualifications

• Six (6) months prior experience as a housekeeper in a hospital, hotel or similar environment.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Specialized training in housekeeping.
• Preferred: One (1) year lead housekeeper or team lead experience in hospital, hotel or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Performs cleaning/sanitizing tasks as per cleaning schedules (wash, dust, polish, vacuum, sweep and mop).
• Cleans and sanitizes sinks, tubs, showers and toilets according to standards.
• Polishes fittings and fixtures; cleans mirrors and windows.
• Empties trash and maintains clean laundry/storage areas; restocks supplies.
• Trains housekeepers to ensure cleaning and infection-control practices are followed.
