Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a Security Officer Lead to plan, coordinate, and delegate security activities at the assigned location and shift. This role ensures safety for Associates, patients, and visitors while modeling MLH values.

You will lead Associates on assigned shifts, investigate thefts, collect data, and maintain records. A minimum of 1–3 years in security or law enforcement is required, with Tennessee security licenses and a valid Class D driver license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Security or law enforcement experience 1–3 years.
• Unarmed Security Guard license – Tennessee required.
• Class D Driver License – Tennessee required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols hospital, parking and assigned areas to ensure safety and security for Associates, patients and visitors.
• Plans, coordinates, controls, and delegates shift activities and operations under supervision.
• Leads Associates on assigned shift(s) and provides direction in the absence of the Supervisor.
• Investigates theft and other crimes.
• Assists Supervisor/Director in data collection and maintains productivity records.
• Maintains appearance and equipment and prepares incident reports.
