Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for staff and visitors according to hospital standards of accuracy, quantity, and presentation. You will portion, cook, and present hot and cold items across patient, retail, and catering areas while supporting kitchen production and delivery.

The role requires the ability to read recipes, manage inventory, and follow safety guidelines as part of the daily duties in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of related experience in a food services environment or restaurant.
• Associates degree in culinary arts, cooking, or similar area of study.
• Three (3) years of experience as a cook in food services or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Follow the menu, prepare and cook food for all regular and modified diets.
• Practice HACCP food safety principles and maintain cleanliness per regulations.
• Prepare foods using kitchen equipment and measure ingredients according to recipes.
