Job summary

TruBlue Home Service Ally in Utah is seeking a Lead Home Service Technician to guide a team of skilled Tru-Pro technicians on various home repair projects. You will lead by example, uphold high standards, and ensure customer satisfaction through reliable care.

The role emphasizes mentoring others, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to construction and maintenance tasks across bathroom/kitchen upgrades, carpentry, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on home repair or construction experience.
• Experience mentoring or supervising other technicians preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Lead Home Service Technician / Handyman – Role: Lead Home Service Technician in South Salt Lake City, Utah.

TruBlue Home Service Ally is a national franchise with over 120 locations that provides trusted handyman repairs, home safety upgrades, and maintenance services to help seniors age in place and support busy families. What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality home maintenance and repair projects
• Lead, coach, and support a team of Tru-Pro® technicians
• Uphold TruBlue’s high standard of professionalism, reliability, and customer care
• Communicate clearly with customers and help manage expectations on-site
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and consistency across every project

Common projects include:

• Bathroom and kitchen upgrades
• Drywall repair and patching
• Flooring installation and repair
• General carpentry
• Interior and exterior painting
• Basic plumbing and electrical (within scope)

Who You Are

• 10+ years of hands-on home repair or construction experience
• Experience managing or mentoring other technicians is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Committed to doing the job right and doing right by your team and clients
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and full toolset
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
