Job summary

TruBlue of The Woodlands is seeking a Lead Home Service Technician in Savannah, Georgia. This role is ideal for someone with over 3 years of experience in carpentry or handyman services who is self-motivated and eager to contribute to a growing veteran-owned business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paid experience in carpentry, remodeling, handyman services, or residential construction.
• Valid driver's license and reliable work vehicle (truck, van, or SUV).
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the United States.

TruBlue Ally of South Savannah is a veteran-owned home services company dedicated to providing premium handyman, home maintenance, and repair services throughout the South Savannah area. We are a newly launched business backed by the trusted TruBlue system and are looking for an experienced Lead Home Service Technician who wants the opportunity to help build something from the ground up.

This is more than a technician role. We’re seeking a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, values customer relationships, and is interested in helping establish the standard for our growing business.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality home maintenance, repair, and improvement projects
• Serve as the lead technician and primary field representative of the company
• Help establish processes, standards, and best practices as the business grows
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication
• Assist in training and mentoring future technicians as additional team members are hired
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a premium standard

Common Projects Include

• Bathroom and kitchen repairs and upgrades
• Drywall repair and patching
• Flooring installation and repair
• General carpentry and rotten wood repair
• Interior and exterior painting
• Basic plumbing and electrical work
• Home maintenance and punch-list projects

Who You Are

• 3+ years of paid experience in carpentry, remodeling, handyman services, or residential construction
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Takes ownership of work and consistently delivers quality results
• Interested in growing with a company from its early stages
• Valid driver's license and reliable work vehicle (truck, van, or SUV)
• Own professional‑grade tools
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the United States
