This role is responsible for the digitization, tracking, retrieval, inventory management, and archival maintenance of pathology slides and tissue blocks. Ensures specimen traceability, image quality, accurate chain-of-custody documentation, and compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements while supporting diagnostic, research, and consultation activities.
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May occasionally cover on call for histology after hours, weekends and holidays. Flexibility for call-back as needed.

This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $26.00 - $45.50 per hour for the role of Lead-Histology Lab Technician, Digital Pathology & Archive.
