Job summary

Martin County is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Crew Foreman with the Martin County Highway Department in Minnesota. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of highway maintenance operations and related equipment.
• Ability to plan, organize, direct and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Experience supervising personnel and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Directs crew on maintenance activities, including equipment and supplies.
• Confers daily with Highway Maintenance Superintendent to determine projects and priorities.
• Ensures compliance with county policies and enforces safety precautions in all maintenance activities.
• Operates and maintains heavy and light equipment as required.
• Participates in hiring and training of new employees; establishes guidelines for procedures.
