Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Extracurricular/Head Coach to lead the development and implementation of the school's athletic program in accordance with GHSA and GCPS rules for the sport.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in an education field (PSC approved), Georgia teaching certification, and prior head coaching experience; you will plan practices, supervise equipment, and coordinate transportation and safety. Strong communication with staff, students, and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in education field from PSC approved college or university required.
• Georgia teaching certification required.
• Experience recognized on salary schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of athletic program functions and activities.
• Uphold the 14 Legal Duties of a Coach.
• Plan and conduct practices teaching fundamentals, strategies, rules and safety.
• Coordinate with education goals and school activities.
• Maintain equipment inventory and storage; ensure GHSA/GCPS compliance.
• Provide guidance to sub-varsity programs and supervise facilities.
• Supervise locker rooms and transportation arrangements for events.
• Promote self-discipline, teamwork and healthy lifestyle.
