The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with search technologies, and the ability to partner with product managers and data scientists to deliver impactful results in a global industrial context.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 10+ engineers or more in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to architect large-scale search platforms for web and content search.
• Strong background in designing scalable, low-latency search systems.
• Experience with search product ecosystems and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a long-term technical vision for the search platform.
• Build detailed technical architecture for search solutions focused on websites content.
• Recruit, manage, and mentor one or more software engineer teams.
• Introduce NLP, vector search, and personalization to improve relevance.
• Use structured delivery methods to manage new or enhanced software products.
• Design and maintain integrations across platforms and software packages.
• Apply testing processes to ensure high-quality software solutions.
• Manage IT services and oversee reliable service operations.
• Build search capabilities with KPIs and analytics to drive improvements.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineering leaders to align initiatives.
