Job summary

Cityview Helicopter Tours seeks an experienced helicopter pilot to operate tour flights under VFR day and night, including NVG when required. You will be responsible for safe flight conduct, flight planning, preflight checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Candidates must hold an FAA Commercial Helicopter license with instrument rating and a Class 2 Medical, with 8–10 years of related experience and 2000 flight hours, including PIC time.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general regulations and procedures.
• Strong math and reasoning capabilities for flight planning and safety.
• Proficiency with standard computer and document software used in aviation.
• NVG experience is preferred for night operations.

Responsibilities

• Pilot the helicopter for tours under VFR day/night/NVG as assigned.
• Report to Chief Pilot or Lead Pilot and ensure safe flight conduct.
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness and required documentation on board.
• Perform preflight inspections and weight/balance calculations.
• Brief passengers and comply with 14 CFR 135/91 as appropriate.
• Review NOTAMs, weather, and flight plans; adjust as needed.
• Keep flight logs and post-flight duty completion; communicate deviations.
• Maintain current medical and flight time restrictions; violation reporting as required.
• Assist with aircraft and work area cleaning when needed.
