Job summary

Partner Equipment Sales in Hazleton, PA is seeking an experienced Lead Shop Mechanic – Heavy trucks and equipment to join our garage. The right candidate will lead hands-on repair and refurbishment projects with a focus on quality and safety.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with our Fabrication team to develop truck bodies and related projects. A valid driver's license and 5+ years in a garage are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on garage experience
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on trucks/equipment
• Welding experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work
• Troubleshoot and repair major and minor issues
• Communicate parts needs and approvals to management
• Collaborate with Fabrication team to build truck bodies and related projects
• Manage multiple tasks with quality and timelines
• Provide hands-on fabrication and shop duties as needed
