Job summary

Deloitte Consulting is seeking a Healthcare Data Engineer Sr. Consultant to design, develop, and operationalize scalable healthcare data platforms and integration pipelines across claims, payments, member, provider, and eligibility domains.

The role requires 10+ years in consulting with 6+ years in healthcare, plus experience delivering cloud-based data products using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, and AWS. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

10+ years of overall consulting experience.
6+ years in healthcare specifically with Medicare knowledge.
Requirements gathering and stakeholder coordination.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT, CE, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on work and clients served.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and operationalize scalable healthcare data platforms and integration pipelines.
Lead cloud-based data products using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, AWS services, Teradata Vantage, Informatica, Airflow, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure high-quality output.
