Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Software Developer to drive the OHDS data platform forward. You will design components for a multi-tenant data platform serving AI-first and traditional analytics workloads, ensuring scalability, reliability, and secure operations in healthcare contexts.

You will partner with architects, product management, and multiple teams to deliver end-to-end software systems and improve customer outcomes, while shaping best practices across cloud-hosted services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience (BS/MS in CS or equivalent).
• Proficient in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of cloud concepts and cloud native services (OCI/AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of distributed storage systems including warehouses and lakehouse formats.
• Hands-on experience with streaming + CDC and large-scale batch processing (Spark, Flink).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and product teams on system design and end-to-end delivery.
