Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Current first aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Has responsibility and leadership for overall supervision of his/her program at all levels.
• Organizes program to align with district philosophy, goals and objectives.
• Builds good sportsmanship and public relations in school and community.
• Follows all league, district and school rules, policies and procedures.
• Assists Athletic Director in coordinating scheduling of events.
• Drafts and submits budget for sport and tracks expenditures.
• Organizes and supervises practice sessions and locker room; supervises assistant coaches.
• Attends district and league meetings; ensures health, safety and welfare of athletes.
• Writes annual report evaluating program and recommending improvements.
• Responsible for equipment inventory and use of facilities.

Education
