Cotopaxi is hiring a Lead Guide (Retail Supervisor) for our Bridgeport Village store in Tigard, OR. This part-time, non-exempt role focuses on elevating guest experiences, coaching teammates, and upholding Cotopaxi values in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll guide customers through our gear and adventures, energize the team, and contribute to a welcoming, purposeful store culture. Ideal for someone who loves community, storytelling, and outdoor gear.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• 1+ year of retail experience, ideally in a Lead or Supervisor role.
• Energetic about people, storytelling, and authentic connection.
• Natural motivator and team builder who lifts others up.
• Eye for detail and highly organized.
• Growth mindset, flexible, creative, and proactive.
• Love for community, adventure, and impact with a Do Good mission.
• Scheduling flexibility to support the team and business needs, including holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods; active role.

Responsibilities

• Champion authentic guest experiences by guiding guests with care, curiosity, and intention.
• Bring energy and personality to interactions, making connections beyond transactions.
• Support team in delivering high-impact guest experiences rooted in Cotopaxi values.
• Be a go-to resource on products, local adventures, and the Do Good mission.
• Help open/close the store and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Support inventory, merchandising, and back-of-house organization.
• Delegate tasks, manage priorities, and uphold store standards.
• Offer real-time feedback to grow confidence and team camaraderie.
• Support new hire onboarding and shaping a values-driven team.
