Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a friendly Guest Services team member in Oklahoma to join our travel center network. You will lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers, process a variety of transactions, and ensure guests receive quality service.

Responsibilities include closing out shifts, maintaining a clean work area, promoting products, and following company policies. This role supports the busy travel center environment and helps keep operations efficient.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small shift of cashiers.
• Ability to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
• Strong customer service and problem-resolution skills.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow guidelines for restricted merchandise (alcohol, tobacco).
• Assist with deli, showers, stocking, and other travel center tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to process merchandise and fuel transactions. Essential Functions include:

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned

Pay Rates Starting between: $11.54 - $16.08 / hour
