Job summary

Pilot Company in Midland, Texas is hiring for a part-time cashier role. You will lead a small cashier team, process cash, credit, and debit transactions, and handle end-of-shift reporting while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, promoting products, resolving guest issues, assisting with deli and rest area tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Temporary and regular duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Lead a shift of one to two cashiers and process diverse payments.
• Provide quality guest service and resolve issues per guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Assist with other travel center tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned

Pay Rates Starting between: $13.25 - $18.75 / hour
